Where It All Begins

When you arrive at The Antler House, you’re stepping into a place that is deeply connected to the land. This home isn’t just a rental; it’s a story, and we’ve curated it for you. We were always drawn to the peaceful quiet of the Fraser Valley and the deep-rooted farm community that surrounds us, a feeling of coming home that we now get to share.

A Home Inspired by Nature and Art

That passion is reflected in every corner of the house. We wanted every room to tell a story and feel like a true expression of the area. The walls are a curated gallery of my own photography and other paintings I’ve collected, each one chosen to capture the spirit of this special area.

Every detail in our home is a nod to the ever-changing landscapes of the Rainforest to Rockies route. The quiet blues in the artwork, runners, and plaid are a tribute to the open sky and the vibrant waters of Harrison Lake. We chose warm, earthy tones of burnt amber, copper, and brown to honor the rich soil, autumn leaves, and majestic cedar trees that stand tall around us. It’s a design that celebrates the natural wonder that surrounds you.

A Place for Connection and Community

Our home was designed for moments of joyful connection. Chris loves nothing more than cooking, grilling, and gathering everyone together for a big meal. That passion is why we designed our outdoor space with a comfortable patio and a BBQ ready for a feast. We wanted a place for friends and family—and now you—to gather and make your own memories.

The Antlers Found Us

We originally planned a different name for the house, something that hinted at the quiet peace we found here. But the house had other plans. The elk antlers—which Chris discovered on a river in northern BC—were a special find we mounted on the front of the house. They caught everyone's eye and soon people started calling our place "The Antler House," and the name just stuck.  It's a name we've fully embraced, as it perfectly captures a unique piece of our story.

Every piece of this house has a little bit of our journey woven into it. The Antler House is a place built on peaceful moments, a love for art, and a passion for hosting, and we can’t wait for you to be a part of its story.
