We care about our neighbour's comfort in this peaceful area and hope you will too.  Please be mindful of quiet hours from 10PM to 7AM. A wireless system measuring decibel levels (noise) will be installed on the property.

During your stay, we kindly ask that only guests listed on the reservation are present, unless prior arrangements have been made. Please note that parties are not allowed at any time.

GAS FIREPLACE

Use the switch on the left side of the mantle to turn on the gas fireplace. If it doesn't light within 15 seconds, simply turn it off and try again.

HEAT PUMP 

The heat pump offers both heating and cooling. 

Bedrooms - Wall Control Located in Hallway

The patio features a natural gas BBQ with an electric ignition switch, eliminating the need for a fire starter. Inside the adjacent drawers, you will find tongs, a flipper, and other helpful items such as gloves. 

 Barbecue Lighting Procedure:

1. Begin by opening the lid of the grill.
2. Next, turn the knob and listen for a clicking sound. Wait for the flame to appear. If it does not ignite, repeat the process until the flame appears.
3. Lastly, turn on any additional burners that you need.
4. Remember to turn off all burners once you have finished grilling.

WOOD FIRES

Wood and fire starting materials are provided. Only use the designated fire pit when allowed by local authorities. Remember to keep all burning materials (like logs and ashes) in the fire pit.

GAS FIRES

In cases where wood-burning fires are prohibited by local authorities, a gas fireplace may be available as an alternative.

Outdoor lights can be easily controlled with the light switches located above the dryer.

WASTE DISPOSAL

Compost, a bucket for raw food is under the sink. No cooked food or animal products please. Cooking oil and grease can be put in a container and then into the garbage can. For extended stays, you can put the garbage and recycling at the end of the driveway on Thursday evenings for pickup. 

WATER 

Filtered water is inside the door of the fridge.

DISHWASHER

Dishwasher tabs are located in the drawer beside the sink. Please load and turn the dishwasher on before departure.

To keep our septic tank happy, please only deposit human waste and toilet paper in the toilets. And if you find yourself in a situation, no worries - there's a trusty toilet plunger under every sink to save the day!

A maximum of 2 well behaved pets are welcome. Pets must be supervised in both the fenced yard and house at all times. A poop scoop and waste container are conveniently located behind the shop, while the cupboard above the laundry room sink contains resolve spray for any accidents. In the event that the house becomes excessively dirty, an additional cleaning fee may be added to your stay.

As your group prepares to go ... remember, new guests may be arriving soon. Please make sure to check-out by 11am, unless you've made prior arrangements for a late check-out.

Please assist us by completing these tasks:

1. Load and run the dishwasher using the tabs in the drawer near the sink.

2. Save energy by turning off the heat pump, fireplace, stove, and lights.

3. Check that all doors are securely locked, and use the Yale button to confirm the front door is closed.
